Open that shoe box you have under your bed, look inside that trunk you never open, touch those objects on the mantelpiece. These things that seem so ordinary but to you they mean so much more. It’s not about the objects themselves but the stories that surround them. Where it came from, who it reminds you of, what it means to you. We treasure these objects because they are wrapped in memories. We hold on to them, put them in a safe place, only to take them out from time to time to remind ourselves how it feels. 

So let me show you an object, let me tell you the story that accompanies it. A pizza box worth hundreds of millions of dollars, a straw that keeps the world from exploding, a slice of bread that defied the US Government.
